I loved, loved, loved this cute little bakery tucked into a strip mall on the edge of Royal Oak. I wish I would’ve taken a picture of the inside of it, with its tulip bouquets in glass Mason jars and display cases enshrining wonderful goodies: cupcakes and bread-pudding cups and cookie-dough bites. But I didn’t, so I will have to settle for these visuals I took of the bakery exterior and of these delicious macaroons I purchased.

Yes, I went to an organic pizza joint on St. Paddy’s Day – don’t judge. 😛

Trendy bar with equestrian-themed décor near the Ambassador Bridge. Had to fight for a spot at the bar rail on this Friday night (there was an hour wait for a table when we arrived around 8:30). Loved, loved, loved the sliders here – such a fun variety – and the fact that they and many other things on the menu (sides, specialty mixed drinks) were only $3!

Ordered the 2012 World Champion Pizza winner, Tangy BBQ Chicken Pizza. Yes, that’s a bite taken out of one of the slices; I have to remember to become one of those people who photographs her food before she eats it!

Home-y, unpretentious Irish bar with a Cheers-y vibe (seriously, it seemed as though everybody knew everybody, and everybody wanted to karaoke!).

Delicious Middle-Eastern food at budget-friendly prices. Excellent garlic sauce! I’m a fiend for hummus, and I definitely got my fill of that, as well.
