I loved, loved, loved this cute little bakery tucked into a strip mall on the edge of Royal Oak. I wish I would’ve taken a picture of the inside of it, with its tulip bouquets in glass Mason jars and display cases enshrining wonderful goodies: cupcakes and bread-pudding cups and cookie-dough bites. But I didn’t, so I will have to settle for these visuals I took of the bakery exterior and of these delicious macaroons I purchased.

Trendy bar with equestrian-themed décor near the Ambassador Bridge. Had to fight for a spot at the bar rail on this Friday night (there was an hour wait for a table when we arrived around 8:30). Loved, loved, loved the sliders here – such a fun variety – and the fact that they and many other things on the menu (sides, specialty mixed drinks) were only $3!
